April 15, 2015: National Institute of Health (NIH) awards CMA a CIO-CS contract

(McLean, VIRGINIA, April 15, 2015).  The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) announced today the award of a Small Business Set-Aside contract to Computer Marketing Associates, Inc. (CMA) under the Chief Information Officer – Commodities and Solutions (CIO-CS) Government-Wide Acquisition procurement.

The CMA contract is firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, with a contract maximum value of $20 billion. The CMA contract will have a 10-year effective ordering period, including a five-year base period from May 1 to April 31, 2020, and one five-year option to extend the period of performance through April 30, 2025.

The NIH CIO-CS contract covers everything ITSM including commodities and commodity-enabling solutions on-site or in the cloud. These include hardware and software, deployment and installation, maintenance and training, enterprise licenses and extended warranties, engineering studies, cloud, mobility, collaboration tools, web and video-conferencing, cyber security, virtualization, health and biomedical IT and more. CMA also offers financing to government for the acquisition of the Information technology solutions. All federal agencies and their contractors can place orders through the CMA GWAC.

“With this award, CMA has added another premiere contractual vehicle to its portfolio of federal, GSA Schedule and state contracts.  The NIH CIO-CS contract, along with the recent award of the NASA SEWP V contract, will allow CMA to better meet the needs of government and the vendors serving the federal government market.” said Joe Corini, President of CMA.
