experience at CMA, all senior staff members have held top level executive,
marketing and business development positions with leaders in the information
technology industry. They understand the business of government, how they buy,
and how to reach the targeted buyers. Most importantly, they understand how to
help our clients succeed.
Joseph W. Corini
President
Mr. Corini is the
founder of Computer Marketing Associates (CMA) and has served as president since
1989. He has over 35 years experience in providing business development,
marketing and contract services in the public sector market. He has extensive
experience in representing technology companies in developing winning strategies
and programs to help grow their business.
Prior to the
formation of CMA, Mr. Corini was a Senior Vice President with a mid-sized
federal systems integrator, the Director of Marketing and Business
Development for the federal division of Unisys and held various sales and
marketing positions with the IBM Corporation.
He earned his BS in business
management from the Penn State University and is an active participant in
numerous professional organizations. He resides in McLean, Virginia with his
family.

Kenneth E. Jones
Vice President
Mr. Jones joined
CMA in 2000 and currently oversees CMA‘s business development and marketing
practices. He serves as the executive interface with our client’s management
team. He has over 30 years of sales, marketing and executive management
experience in the public sector information technology market place.
Prior to joining
CMA, Mr. Jones successfully led professional marketing and sales organizations
at Digital Equipment Corp, Oracle, NCR and AT&T where he was responsible for
closing multi-million dollars worth of business in the public sector.
Mr. Jones has
extensive experience in developing winning capture strategies for major
government solicitations and implementing sales and marketing campaigns for
companies marketing enterprise solutions. He started his career in
business at the New York headquarters offices of Chase Manhattan Bank in the
management development program in 1965.
Mr. Jones is a
graduate of the New York Institute of Technology and an active member of a
number of industry associations. He resides in Fairfax, Virginia with his wife
and family.
James
D. Bruning
Senior Client Executive
Mr. Bruning joined CMA in 2010 and serves as a
senior client executive developing new client accounts. Mr. Bruning
has extensive business and marketing experience in the Government
information technology community and has been a successful sales and
marketing executive for over thirty years.
Mr. Bruning began his career with System
Development Corporation and has led government marketing and sales
efforts at a number of major corporations including Amdahl,
Compuware, and most recently as the manager of the Government
Business Unit at the Targus Information Corporation.
Additionally, he has served on the USO Board and on a number
of Advisory Boards.
Mr. Bruning holds an MBA in business management
from the University of Texas. He resides in Berkeley Springs West
Virginia with his wife and family.
Israel Feldman
Senior Corporate Advisor
Mr. Feldman is serving as a Vice President and Senior Corporate Advisor. He has over 40 years experience in the federal government information technology sector and has extensive experience in marketing and business development.
He worked for the early leaders in the IT sector, including Honeywell, UNIVAC, and the MITRE Corporation in both marketing and technical roles. He also served in senior government management positions in Health & Human Services (HHS), Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the United States Postal Service (USPS).
He founded Government Computer News (GCN), Enterprise Reengineering Journal, the e-Gov Journal and the “e-Gov Expo”. Mr. Feldman has also been active in the M&A field for close to ten years specializing in the Federal IT sector.
He is the founder and current Chairman Emeritus of the Industry Advisory Group (IAC). Additionally, he serves on numerous Advisory Boards, including the University of Maryland - University College. He is a Member of the Board of Governors of the Technion Israel Institute of Technology.
He earned his BS (Cum Laude) from Technion in Electrical Engineering, and the MS from the Sloan School of Management at MIT (MBA). He attended Harvard University at the Aiken Computer Lab and other Graduate Schools, completing numerous advanced Computer Science courses.
He resides in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife.
Thomas Johnson
Business Development Executive
Mr. Johnson is a Senior Business Development Executive in the CMA marketing and business development practice. He supports CMA clients in delivering strategic government marketing and consulting services. Mr. Johnson has been in the federal marketing and sales industry for over 25 years, focusing on IT services and commercial off-the-shelf product sales to civilian and military agencies.
He has consulted with numerous small businesses and major prime contractors on GSA schedule contracts, business development and government sales issues. He has managed a highly productive sales team selling contact databases and organization charts of government officials. The products were widely used by government contractors.
Independently, Mr. Johnson publishes a government sales newsletter called Set-Aside Alert, along with directories of minority- and woman-owned businesses. He has a BSChemE and MSIA from Purdue University. He resides with his wife in Washington, DC.
Cathy Crick
Manager, Government Contracts
Ms. Crick has been with CMA for 13 years as Manager, Government Contracts. During this time she has worked with manufacturers on obtaining various GSA Schedules. In addition to obtaining GSA Schedules, she also works with clients to make sure they understand the issues and policies involved with government contracts.
Prior to joining CMA, Ms. Crick worked with several IT companies managing GSA Schedules, keeping clients up-to-date on schedule issues and modifications to the GSA Schedule solicitation. She also worked with sales staff on pricing for bid. Ms. Crick also worked four years with the Defense Intelligence Agency. |
